I've been drawing again.
This time it's been the seaside on a cloudy day where waters are still and calling,
It was the scratchy black pen that sketches out my thoughts as they are falling.
Time is slowing people growing, a family plays by the sea.
As we skip, dance, spin and twirl, no happier could I be.
The fresh warm breeze caresses my hair, a gentle hand does call.
The so welcoming, oh clear blue, a song that is heard by all.
The sunrays beat down, my shadow lengthens, as time moves so do I.
The shade is asking, taking me, all whilst, I watch the sky.
Blues and purples, blacks and greys, a shallow pink and white,
So many hues, so many thoughts, all evaporating with the night.
So there we have it. The result of scratchy black pens, sketching, cloudy skies and beach days all wrapped up with a little impromtu poem.
P.S. In case you are wondering..
