Well, well, well.
Supposedly I'm coming back at you all. Back to bombard with you little snippets of time and photographs that really might not mean a whole lot to any of you, back to once again blab for the first time through my fingers as the familiar tap, tap, tap of the keyboard begins..
After disapearing completely for an entire month (officially a month as of tomorrow) I'm trying to get past the severe procrastination that finally getting back into it and writing a post is conjuring up. To just go for it and write, photograph and post once again is proving a little harder than I first initally thought...
So far through my procrastination I have fed the dog, read at least 4 separate blogs, checked my Instagram for the first time in 2 days, re-checked my Instagram, and then checked it again. I've gone through snapchat, taken a beach walk, downloaded music and then set up camp (finally) on the couch in a very, very cosy blanket accompanied by my trusty ugg boots, Whitley playing quietly through my phone, my laptop, and my brother happily watching good ol' Thomas the Tank Engine in the background.
Whew. Procrastination aside I'm now successfully back to blabbing.
SO, because at the moment this blog is a bit of a one sided conversation where I'm chit chattering while you cool kids are forced to just listen here is a bit of what's been going over the last few weeks..
Hmm.. Where to start exactly? Well, one we moved house, started at new schools, we are slowly moving all our things to our new set up and slowly, slowly we are making progress.. Seriously missing everyone (if you're reading this you know who you are) but LOVING being back with so many great, friendly, amazing people here. *Insert love heart emojis right about now** Far out on a completely different topic I need to lay-off the emojis.. But anyway, subject 2. Just saved my laptop from dying and this whole blog post disappearing when I looked up and noticed that I was officially on 2%. We all know 2% is never good no matter what the circumstance. But subject 2, actually. Well ahem, ahem, SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS. Oh my god, totally cliché I know but Best. Weekend. Of. My. Life. Wow the splendour thrill and fun packed weekend was incredible. I mean I was there listening to my favourite artists and musicians LIVE with 3 of my favourite people, eating good food and becoming completely immersed within the amazing feeling of the festival. We danced, we sang, we laughed and we enjoyed ourselves to the max. Oh and one of the best parts? Each night we didn't camp in mud and flooded tents.. We came home and showered, slept on matresses ate real food and were completely mud free by morning. Mega appreciation shout out to the best people on the planet, Mums.
Ahhh I really could write about Splendour forever and I just have this tiny niggling feeling that there are many, many posts to come ft. #SITG2015 Did I really just write a hashtag into my blogpost? Seriously though what is my life coming to?
If you've made it this far I really do commend you and I'm left wondering how you're still awake and not bored out of your brains. But thanks. Thanks for reading my ramblings and I'm sending you a big, fat, splendour in the grass sized crowd to cheer you on, if you don't like being cheered for? Well, too bad my friend I'll just have to pop you into the crowd so that you can cheer ...
Well, we all nothing's completely finished until at least 3 points have been made and so now here comes little story three.. Subject and point 3. Brace yourself for lots of little and not to meaningful until all clumped to make bigger, and a little more S-O-M-E-T-H-I-N-G. Oh and don't you reckon that secretly we all know bigger is better? I mean who ever rejoiced because they were served a tiny icecream, who jumped for joy when the time spent at the beach was less and NOT more? No-one thats who. Oh and did you ever cry because you got a long weekend? Nope? I didn't think so. All good things come bigger and better. Don't try to hide it, we all know it..
Okay, so really what happened to point three? Attempt 2 at staying on track and completing my thoughts .. Okay, so well, little thing one, I FINALLY got a phone. Ahhh life is pretty good, however I am now serisouly in need of a job to pay off the monthly $53 that the pocket sized computer requires. Hmm.
Another something? Since moving I was told to pack enough clothing to last at least a month and me being me who had never not overpacked my whole life decided that it would be a great idea to bring the bare necessites for the first time in my life and be minimal and organised.. Bad idea. Let me tell you that much. I miss my closet and my clothes. So much. Ridiculously lame really but I now have a new found appreciation for my wardrobe, shoes and most of all for OVERPACKING. First rule in my book of life lessons.. Overpacking is the ONLY way to go.
Official third thing to talk about in point 3 is that my Burdgundy Docs are seriously MUDDY leaving me sad. Must get around to scrubbing and polishing and somehow I am determined to uncover the Docs to their original glory. Somehow this will happen.
Whew. This turned out way longer than I anticipated. If you made it this far (All. The. Way. Ya seriously cool kid) I owe you an icecream. Remember BIGGER IS BETTER when it comes to icecream.
Just in case you didn't read any of this post except for maybe this last paragraph I feel ya as I am totally guilty of doing just that exactly. Oh and here's a little something just in case you are ever needing a huge procrastination task and cleaning is not ranking to high on your activities you could spend 300 hours and read this post. HA.
Love ya'll lots.
Until the next post, and I'm promising you, there WILL be another post very soon.
So officially until then,
